Dear Mom

By Walt Walton

I lost a part of me - “My Mother”!

Cancer eventually spread throughout her body & I was with her during her last moments, holding her hand & smiling. She reached a point where she could no longer hold on, but she continued to look up at her children with joy as we told her Well done.

She rested momentarily & when she opened her eyes, she shed her last tear. My sister gentle wiped it away as we remained to tell her how proud we were to be children of such a unique, strong, powerful, God-fearing woman.

Since then, I have had so many different people along the way help me through this grieving process. Whether it be a hug, high five, fist bump, prayer, or even a gentle smile.

Thank you so much for all your Love & Support

This song is dedicated to my mom

She was a very special lady to a lot of people

I hope this gives you a glimpse of how much she was loved
