God is a Comedian. Well at least to me he is. LOL! Isn’t it funny to see how God works in our lives and in the lives of others around us? Funny you say? Yes of course, funny. I often find myself laughing when I realize the revelation of his word and how it is made manifest in my life at the end of a trying time or after a period of uncertainty.

Or how God can bless you in a way you were never expecting, from people you were never expecting blessing from, especially your adversaries. Yes sometimes I grin when I think of how he will use the tests, trials, and circumstances to grow our faith in him.

There's an ole clichéd phrase that starts with, “Ain't it funny how . . .” and, for me, it helps to describe how God will cause our adversaries to become a blessing. Folks who you would have never thought would bless you will be caused by GOD to provide for you. Often from unlikely sources.

There's a story in the Bible about ravens, birds that represent death, being ordered to bring Elijah (a prophet) food to sustain him (1 Kings 17 vs 1-6). And every now and again GOD will send you the relief or the help you need from unexpected places, people, and resources.

As I mentioned before “God has not forgotten about you." Hold on. But how does one sit and wait well? Faith. Faith will give you the power to stand and believe that God is doing something miraculous in your life, whether we recognize it as such or not.

Faith is believing that God will use those ravens to bless you or your adversaries to bless you with what you need. And while we may find it funny to be blessed by those we don’t expect or even try to avoid because they sought to harm us, God is working all things for good, to build your faith in him. The Bible says: Cast all your cares in him for he cares for us (1 Peter 5 vs 7).

Stay in the race my brothers and sisters because God is about to reveal the joke, making you smile and bless you in the process. Trust in the lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine own understanding of what’s going on in your life right now - he is sending your adversaries to bless you (Proverbs 3 vs 5). Every blessing comes from the Lord.

Be ye steadfast and unmovable in your faith, for God is faithful (1 Corinthians 15 vs 58).

Don’t be caught in the details for you will miss the punch line trying to figure out who, what, where and how he will bless you in this season, because the truth is: Rarely could we predict where, when, what, and who God will use to bring his blessings.

Therefore, exercise your faith. In order for faith in God to grow, we must fight the good spiritual fight. A good spiritual fight will: elevate you, mature you spiritually, and help ease your discomfort in your walk with God. Even as you get weak in your faith, take a rest, break to read God's word, and be restored.

Trust in him by keeping the faith and watch god bless you in this season. Keep the faith my brothers and sisters in Christ and just watch how funny God can truly be.
